Interim & fractional leadership

Credit bureaux and data businesses are usually short of senior leadership in one specific place: the seam between the data people and the commercial people. It rarely justifies a permanent hire, which is why it so often goes unfilled. That seam is the role I play.
Nangara is deliberately fractional.
I've sat in the executive seat with responsibility for people, teams, customers, strategy and commercial outcomes, often through multiple layers of an organisation, and always with a strong market-led growth bias.
That broad general management experience matters. I seek to understand how the pieces fit together, make decisions with imperfect information, work across functions, bring people with me, and stay accountable for the outcome. That is how I work.
The mandate can take different forms and operate over different horizons: run a business or revenue line while a permanent executive is found; sharpen and accelerate a data, product or innovation strategy; get a new business line from idea to market; reset a growth agenda; or lead an inorganic growth strategy from opportunity identification through to execution.
Sometimes the job is strategic. Sometimes it is gritty and operational. Usually it is both.
Nangara works with only a small number of clients at a time. The aim is not to create dependency. It is to provide experienced executive capacity when it is needed, build capability around the work, and leave behind something that continues to perform after I step away.
